FAQ for Donors
You can make a secure donation through our website using a credit card or other available payment methods. We also accept donations by cheque via mail, or you can call us for assistance in setting up or processing your gift.

To update your contact information, please reach out to us by email (info@cpar.ca) or phone (+1 416 3690865). Our team will be happy to assist you in updating your details to ensure you continue receiving important updates and receipts.
Official tax receipts are issued for all eligible donations of $10 or more.
Receipts are sent by email or mail, depending on your communication preferences. For monthly donations, a consolidated annual tax receipt is issued at the beginning of each year, unless otherwise requested.
CanadaHelps is a trusted Canadian platform that securely processes online donations for charities like CPAR.
If you donated through CanadaHelps, the charge may appear under their name on your bank or credit card statement. This is normal, and your gift has been safely directed to CPAR.
Donations set up directly through CanadaHelps (rather than through CPAR) will have their official tax receipt issued by CanadaHelps.
Donations of a certain amount can be designated to a project/country where we work. Contact us if interested.
The most efficient way to give is to make a general gift to CPAR. It gives us the flexibility to respond quickly to emerging needs and allocate resources where they will have the greatest impact.
These funds help ensure program continuity, support urgent priorities, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of our work.
