Meet Dr. Felagot Taddese: CPAR Ethiopia's New Country Manager


We are thrilled to announce and extend a warm welcome to Dr. Felagot Taddese as the newest addition to our CPAR Ethiopia team. Dr. Taddese brings with her a wealth of experience and a profound dedication to advancing maternal healthcare in Ethiopia.




Dr. Felagot Taddese, an esteemed physician specializing in Obstetrical and Gynecological care, she has been at the forefront of transformative initiatives in maternal healthcare across Ethiopia.


She was also instrumental in pioneering innovative projects aimed at improving maternal health outcomes. Notably, spearheading the Remote Ultrasound Assisted Antenatal (RUAA) project in collaboration with CPAR. Through this initiative, she leveraged telemedicine to remotely oversee clinical operations for obstetrical ultrasound in rural areas.


Her expertise has empowered rural midwives by enhancing their skills in image acquisition, interpretation, and complicated case management. Her efforts have directly contributed to improving maternal health outcomes in underserved communities.


Previously, Dr. Taddese served as a crucial clinical health officer within CPAR's Sexual and Reproductive Health (ESWA) project, actively contributing to clinical needs assessments and strategic planning for service delivery. Her dedication and strategic insights have been invaluable in driving progress in this critical area.


Dr. Taddese's dedication to driving innovation and progress in maternal healthcare continues to make a lasting impact on communities across Ethiopia. Her leadership will undoubtedly further CPAR's mission of improving healthcare access and outcomes for all.
