CPAR has a longstanding history of successfully implementing water, sanitation and hygiene projects in Malawi.
Since 2016, CPAR has constructed four Rainwater Harvesting Tanks for use by four primary schools in Kasungu District. With the Green Schools Project, CPAR is emphasizing hygiene and sanitation in these schools as well as showing teachers and students how to use the run-off greywater from the tanks to grow fruit and non-fruit trees. In addition to these trainings, CPAR will construct a fifth Rainwater Harvesting tank to provide additional safe, clean water.
A special thank you to the Gay Lea Foundation for their support of the Green Schools project.
