CPAR Kash Dash

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, runners laced up for the 10th annual Kash Dash in Haliburton, Ontario and raised funds for CPAR’s programs in rural Africa. Lisa Avery from Orillia, Ontario won in the women’s division with a time of 43.04 and Bart Nicholl from Parry Sound, Ontario had a winning time of 34:07.1 for the men.

The Kash Dash wouldn’t be complete without the 1K kids’ race. Out of 36 runners, the winner for the girls was Claire Brown from Newmarket, Ontario with a time of 4:07.6 and Justin Tyrell of Barrie, Ontario was the winner for the boys with a time of 4:05.1.
