Become a PAL, Partner in African Livelihoods, today!
Carolyn Dapar built her farm in Lira district Uganda from 1 to 7 acres with the training and loans she received through the support of PALs in Canada and now can grow enough food for her family and sell the surplus at market for income.
CPAR PALs build healthy communities and create sustainable change in rural Africa by partnering with vulnerable communities through their monthly donations. Becoming a PAL is easy and convenient. Your monthly donation is charged automatically to your bank account or credit card and you receive a single annual tax receipt each February. And, you can change or cancel your donation at any time.
As a PAL and monthly donor, you’ll be choosing the best way to give as:
- Monthly giving keeps our administrative costs down and so more of your donation goes to communities in Africa
- Your commitment gives us stability and the ability to make longer term program commitments
Your support as a PAL will help vulnerable communities in Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda, and Tanzania overcome poverty by supporting programs that address the key determinants of community health. These include:
- Clean and safe water
- Adequate and nutritious food
- Secure livelihoods
- Primary health care
- Healthy environment
When you become a CPAR PAL, you’ll receive a welcome kit introducing you to the PAL program and the community-based projects you will be supporting.
You’ll also receive:
- A single tax receipt in early February each year
- Semi annual PAL Reports with special project updates and stories from the communities
- CPAR’s semi annual donor newsletter
- The option to receive paperless reports by email
